I got to try the buttered cheese vada pav - and it was my first time trying vada pav! I was really taken aback by how much I liked it but I enjoyed the numbing sort of spice and the potato fritter combined together.

Loved my visit to Potoba Edinburgh. The food tastes genuinely authentic — especially the misal pav and chaat, which reminded me of proper Mumbai street food. Service was quick, portions were generous, and the prices are very reasonable. A cosy, no‑frills spot that delivers big flavour. Highly recommend.

Great Indian street food with real taste. Good service, Damanjeet treats customers super nicely and friendly. Bonus, everything's pure vegetarian. Moreover, free dessert on review! :) Definitely check it out if you're in Edinburgh.

Everything is pure vegetarian and we can experience the authentic Indian taste here. Also, taste is always the same and thats the quality of this place. You can also get quite a few range of Indiansnacks and basic Indian groceries, including atta, spices etc.

Loved my time at Potoba in Edinburgh. I haven't been back home to India in years and after tasting the food here, it literally brought tears to my eyes since I never expected Indian food in the UK to turn out to be this authentic and amazing. It literally felt as if I am in a North Indian 'dhaba'. The service was awesome and the staff were very hospitable and kind. I highly recommend this to anyone longing for 'that particular taste'.

The vada pav was supreme, I loved it. The best mango lassi in the city too! What a gem this place is, I recommend coming in and grabbing an authentic Indian meal!

After a long day at my part-time work, I was heading back home when I came across Potobe. The place instantly caught my attention, and I decided to give it a try – and I’m so glad I did! I ordered Dai Kachori, Lemon Mint Soda, and Gulab Jamun, and each one of them was nothing short of amazing. The Dai Kachori was packed with authentic flavors that instantly reminded me of Indian street-side evening chats. The Lemon Mint Soda was refreshing, the perfect balance of tangy and cooling – just what I needed after a tiring day. To finish it off, the Gulab Jamun was soft, warm, and absolutely melt-in-the-mouth delicious. The whole experience was not just about food – it was heart-touching and nostalgic. It genuinely felt like being transported back to the lively Indian evenings filled with chat and sweets. A mind-blowing experience, and I’d highly recommend Potobe to anyone craving authentic Indian flavors. Definitely a place I’ll be visiting again!
